Zeki, the starling talking up a storm

This winter we had a bunch of starlings at our bird feeders getting some of the suet.

Our starling, Zeki, calls all starlings Zeki's. Here is a video of him saying hi to them, as well as some other things-hi, baby bird, zeki gives kisses, ect.

A little house finch came by in the video to take a closer look at the wierd starling in the house as well.

It was about time we were treated to a video of Zeki again . I love him! What a cute little voice he has. Calls all Starlings zekis haha.

He's our cutie. He's about 7 to 8 months now, he'll possibly go through his first hormonal stage this spring (yellow beaky season)

He's been talking since young, but usually it takes him a while before he shares new phrases. we heard "Zeki is such a pretty bird" for months before adding new ones.

All of sudden his trying tons of stuff and adding things almost daily. I'm thinking it's cause spring is coming and he's getting ready to woo the ladies.

He's always been only interested in human speach as well. A lot of them will mimic household sounds like squeaky cabinets and such. New in the past few days however he's been beeping....coffee pot is finished brewing beeping to be exact.

Wow, that's great! I love seeing birds other than parrots talking. In Australia you hear stories of magpies, wild ones, talking. I can't seem to find any YouTube videos of this, the talking magpie videos are mostly of European magpies that are pets. Your Zeki is so precious though!

Totally jealous! Zeki has an incredible vocabulary and he's such a cutie too. We're hoping for Koda's yellow beak soon too!
