It makes you smile to just listen to your little guy say the same thing over and over and over again :). My lutino Jake (15yo), who I have had nearly 3wks still does trust me but I am happy to know he is comfortable enough around me to be himself and go off on 'pretty bird, watcha doing' ramblings for 20min.

Curious how everyone else knows they birdie nut? :D

Aww so cute!!! My little guy just chirps and dances and etc.

When Lilo takes a bath and water goes EVERY WHERE! But then I say to myself I wonder when I can get another bird! :)

When your in the middle of scrubbing down 5 cages and keep planning where to put the next one!

Or when your mother asks how you can go back to sleep in the morning with the 7 birds talking and your like 'What? Were they being loud? I didn't notice....'

When almost everything else comes second :) if the phone is ringing or texting when I'm with them, I simply don't care. I don't even look.

When you get rid of your beloved furniture to turn your house into a bird house that you just live around them. Lol

your refrigerator is always full of fruits and veggies for the birds, but you can't find a single thing in there for you to eat.

You become an expert at creative budgeting so that you can buy that new doo-hicky that your fid just HAS to have!

When you own a wardrobe that includes "bird clothes".

I knew someone who did that! They made a house addition for a flight room for her Moluccan cockatoo. You should have seen it - it was a birds paradise! Lol

I'm loving all these responses and they are all SO TRUE! Hope to hear more :)

When you rearrange the cages, try to figure out how to give your fids more room with what you have.. to the point that you realize you spend more time cleaning, fiddling and playing with bird things than cleaning your own house.

When you stay upstairs with your fids, even trough your parents just came back from vacation, their out time is important.
And when you realized that at work your only busy with thinking up new toys;)

When you cook more for your birds than your family :)

Eww Lisa LOL :D I think I've always cared about that no matter how much of a bird lover I am!
