I hate introductions with a burning passion, but I figure if I'm joining a forum I ought to at least try to be social.

So, hi. My name's Anna, and i've been a bird owner for nearly four years. I've got four lovely parakeets and two cockatiels -

Bobo is the lutino in the corner, and Toby is hiding behind the ladder - she's never liked cameras. Ninja is the chubby blue one, Baby is at the top, and Momiji next to Bobo. Janet is in her nesting box, and I didn't want to bother her - she just laid her seventh egg today.

I've been breeding parakeets for two years, and despite all that people say about breeding animals and adoption and all I just love spending time with the babies. It makes my cold dead heart feel all warm and fuzzy, watching them grow up.

I originally came here for help with one of my budgies, but seeing how active this place is I might just stick around. I might be able to help out here and there.

Hi Anna! I like the way you put that big ladder in your cage. My 2 would love that! Everything I know about birds, I've learned it here. This is a great place to hang out. I look forward to seeing more pics of your babies!

Hi Anna, you have got a nice big cage for your flock. How I wished I have the space back here to increase my cage size...
