Yay finally!!!

OMG its amazing! Ok so my last post I told everyone that we finally got the birds seperated. Well, we let Sunny out of his cage and he bit my husband. My husband blew in his face and in a firm voice said "no, stop that". Next thing you know we can walk up to Sunny and pick him up and cuddle him. I just now put him to bed after having spent the last hour with him on my chest and me gently stroking his back. He was giving kisses too! No biting, just real gentle kisses. And he loves to cuddle up under my hair and rub his head on me. I dont know what happened to bring on this amazing transformation but WOW. Kiwi still only lands on me but she wont let me pet her. And whoever has Sunny is usually where she sits. Its just great that these birds are opening up to all of us. I enjoyed cuddling Sunny so much I didnt want to put him to bed. And I cant wait until tomorrow when I can spend a full day of showing them love and affection.

Good for you! Whatever works. Just a note of caution. Pet him on his head & neck, not his back or belly. That stimulates hormones that will turn your sweet boy into not such a sweet boy. They love to have their jawline rubbed, under the ear. And behind his head.
