wrapping paper?

I want to say no, it might be paper the if it has a design on it you don't know what chemicals they could have used. And also depends where you have it stored, or how its protected when you bought it. Never know what or who touched it. But don't take my advise, I just wouldn't let my birds near wrapping paper. Too much of a risk.

:green1:

I wouldn't trust wrapping paper, it's full of dyes that are designed to have very vibrant colors, more so than normal paper. don't want to trust that with birdies haha

thanks guys :) i'll use plain brown paper instead if i choose to make any toys for them :D

Yes I would be very cautious about using wrapping paper - first it would be very difficult to find country of origin, what ingredients are used and what chemicals are used to get the colors, so Dally probably is a good call to stay with the plain brown paper.

I hate to say this, but I've been giving my birds the left over christmas wrapping, in the left over boxes, as toys for probably ten years...

No one has ever gotten sick from it...

Except perhaps me, when I saw the size of the mess I had to clean up when they got done with it!

But mine get phone books to shred on a regular basis as well...
