What a super day! Left bright and early on a roadtrip to take a look at some lovebirds, a breeder friend about an hour from me is getting out of birds due to her health so gave me a call;) Why do people do that?:54: Anyway, I added 2 proven pairs of lovies to my flock. Gorgeous! I should take pictures for you guys when things settle down a bit here, they are in quarantine for the next few months as a precaution (anything I bring in goes through a quarantine period because I believe it's better to be safe than sorry) I hear ya Julie!!:D

THEN, I bought 2 super cute Holland Lop does to add to my rabbitry, visited a store that's closing and found some great bargains and my Mini Lop doe had 7 babies:)

Woohoo! :jumping40:jumping40:jumping40 lol this is me really excited at my new additions!

PIctures please! Yay for you!!

I'll take pictures soon, I promise! The lovebirds are par blue and one is a pastel blue she said. I need to learn more about colors and everything................she isn't feeling too hot so I hate to bug her with lots of questions. Can anyone recommend good links for me to read?

The Holland Lops are Lilac Tort and the other is a Broken (something?!) I forgot:52: I will look when I go back out to the barn. Oh well, I can't remember everything!

Congrats Melissa! Lovebirds and baby bunnies, how sweet is that!

Thanks Amanda! They are very rare in this area, haven't seen anyone else around here have these colors (my friend had them shipped from Florida) Now I need pair names

I have these names in use already
Fred + Ethel
Romeo + Juliet
George + Gracie
Jack + Mary
Ricky + Lucy
Ozzie + Harriet

My 2 new pairs need names, any suggestions?

Mom bunny and the older bunnies (with the fur) are so terribly cute!! Beautiful colors too. I love the lovebirds, also very pretty colors. Some nice new animals to love :)!

Wow...you have ALOT of additions today!!! Congrats...they are all very adorable and beautiful!

I love to hear of folks happy doing what they're doing. So many unhappy folks in the world. i just got a new pair of breeders that i've wanted for more than 30 yrs.

Thank you! Funny how no-one mentioned how cute the tiny babies were???? lol my family thinks they look like little mice/rats. I'm just odd or something, I think they're precious little bundles, fur or no fur!:D

Henpecked (name?) Congratulations!! What kind of pair did you get?
