My friend at work brought me this box full of glorious pine off-cuts that her hubby collected for me at work (he is a joiner by trade). She can't believe how excited I am by pine blocks!! LOL.

I too got a whole box of wooden children bloks.
Only my birds don't chew on them...it will last a while.
Once a year we got something that is called queens day.
everyone can sell their stuff on the street,there are always a lot of baby toys that are practically free!!

I think it will last a while because he doesn't enjoy harder pieces of wood - likes chewing thin pine slats. But he's really starting to chew up his wood toys so I think he will be moving onto thicker pieces pretty soon

That's what is so nice about my friend's hubby - he fully understands the need for untreated wood because they have a timney grey themselves.
