Parrots
DYHA Sweetpea, BHC Rocky
Parrots mimic what they hear, my exwife and I had a healthy sex life. One day my mother came over and of course went to say hi to Sweetpea. Sweetpea responded by moaning and groaning, saying ooohhh yeah baby, oooh, ooohh, ooohh! Talking about embarassing. My mother had this weird look on her face and asked what the hell is wrong with the bird! So be careful what you say around your parrots, especially cuss words.

That is hilarious! You set yourself up for that because DYH and YN pick up everything fairly quickly. I am constantly telling my family no cuss words or yelling because I don't want the birds to pick it up.

Ahahahahaha:jumping40

How about crying babies ???? Oh Lordy

My Mr. Pickles recently screamed out "What the heck ?!" From now on, I'm leaving the TV on some kind of children's show. No more HBO or ShowTime for him.

LOL!!! That is TOO funny!! Several years ago I had an african grey (getting another in a few weeks), and he could mimic absolutely everything he heard. For instance, we told folks that when they called to let phone ring at least three times as that was when the answer machine picked up and we wouldn't be getting up to answer phone until the fourth ring....we got tired of getting up when it was only Scarlett pretending to be the phone :) She did the ring, all the answer machine noises and then perfectly mimiced my answering the phone :) Scarlett was also known for telling our cocker spaniel to "get off the couch, get off that couch now", drove the dog crazy, especially when he WAS off the couch!! Yep....birds are awesome, but we do have to watch our language :)

Safari has learned how to cry like a baby from the t.v being on....

I mostly have it on a radio station...

they are soooo funny, you never know what they are going to hear ;)
