- Blue Fronted Amazon, Cookie..Sun Conure..lil Booger (RIP) Have owned Parakeets, lovebirds, cockatiels, cockatoos, pocket parrot, and quakers.
My lil Booger actually tells me to put him to bed. After the
"Booger and Cookie" duet he looks at me and says. "wannagonitenitenitenite".. then Im expected to put him in his cage and rub his beak before I cover him up. He gets upset if he doesn't get his beak rub. After he is covered then Cookie gets on top of Boogers cage in "guard the nest" mode.. protecting his "baby" until he himself is ready for bed. Regular as clockwork. They are seriously creatures of habit and routine.
