Werribee, Victoria, Australia
Parrots
Trip (black capped conure)
Remy (nanday)
Zeph, Ziggy & Forest (green cheeks)
Riki (kakariki)
Duke & Audrey (indian ringnecks)
Biscuit (budgie)
Since Remy has joined us (and as much as i hate it, he likes my mum more than me, and he's supposed to be my bird, pfft), Zeph has taken to hanging out with me all the time.. so i guess we've swapped birds ;) lol

he's found amusement in the little tupperware containers I usually keep some beads in.. at least it keeps him from trying to use my mouse.

smarty pants actually holds it up until i take a picture of it..

That is so dear! Mine (and my Amazon, as well) also loves tiny paper cups with treats in them--a great foraging toy. But generally my GCC doesn't play with toys--he just wants to sit on my shoulder and nibble on my ear or preen my hair. I wish I could help him to be more engaged with toys... Any suggestions?

adorable! hes like a bird model :)

One of Mango's favorite toys is a 1/8 cup measuring cup. He loves to throw it around. Hundreds of dollars on fancy toys, and he prefers measuring cups and toilet paper rolls.

Birds absolutely love the tupperware
I give Mishka all the tops etc, he spends hours chewing them of and seeing how far he can throw them.
His cage at the bottom looks like a tupperware shop.
Beautiful pic's

only suggestion i could think of is try anything and everything, lol.. all greenies are different, they're like people how they have favorite things.. maybe keep trying different things and see if he takes to anything..

we got lucky with Zeph, he's really a perfect little bird (most of the time).. usually he'll sit on my shoulder or snuggle against my neck and just be content to preen or play with the strings on my hoodie.. on occasion he'll be naughty and try to grab my ears/earrings, but i stop that fast and distract him with a toy (that lid, one of my plastic bangle bracelets, or even a drinking straw).

Hahahaha oh adorable pics!! :)

AW! You can make toys out of a lot of household items just like that! I give toilet paper rolls to my sun conure. She loves shredding them. Cheap and pretty safe, as far as I can tell!

That first photo is great. Like Sherlock Holmes looking through a magnifier.

Pritti loves all things kitchen -- plastic measureing cups and spoons, rings that screw on and off magic bullet mixer cups, container lids and lids and lids, paper towel rolls, wooden spoons, ....
