So I just obtained a bonded pair of green cheeks from the same person who I got the two amazons from, since he's trying to find homes for all but his personal birds. They came with a four-foot wide breeder cage but it's in kind of crummy shape. I'm in between two cages at the moment, and would appreciate any suggestions.

This one, I really like, comes with the stand and has a good amount of space.

And this one, no stand, though I could buy it with the stand.

The latter being shipped by Amazon so I can get the free two day shipping. The other is $34 shipped. I'm considering going with the flight cage because I do like it a lot more, and if they end up breeding at any point, I still have the current cage, though it needs a good power washing.

The flight cage by mcage is a better size. Two concerns that seller has terrible reviews on Ebay. Second there is very little information available on the mcage brand so you will be buying on faith in regards to product quality and willingness to have & honor any warranty. Quite frankly it isn't an impressive price when you can hop over to Ebay and pick up a A&E flight cage for $115 or HQ cage which can be had for $130-140 or even a Prevue flight cage for $115 on Amazon Warehouse Deals.

IMO I think the Hampton cage is a little too small for 2 gcc's. I used to have a gcc in a coated wire cage with no problems but my experience is limited to the one bird and we all know personality, destructiveness and noise vary from individual to individual.

Any recommendations? I'm browsing ebay now and seeing a few good ones that I like.

I'm also laughing hysterically at the poor photoshopping for some of these pictures, like this one 57inch Parrot Finch Bird Cage Cockatoo Play w Stand Top Perch | eBay

That bird wouldn't even fit through the door, nor is it even close to being that big! Who the heck did they hire to do that!?

I really like the flight cage :) None of my birds share a cage . Right now I have 3 that have this cage . One Lory and 2 Caiques. I plan on getting 2 more . One for my other Lory and Caique . It will be a bigger cage for them . I have no problems with them. Plenty big enough for Greencheeks [I have one too].

I had a GCC in the past, and I feel like going with a larger flight cage would be best, especially with two (with whom I've also been told are escape artists.)

Ebay- A&E cage

Drat looks like the price on HQ has gone up to $170 used to be $130 and someone snagged the Prevue flight cage off of Amazon Warehouse deals. You can still get the Prevue F040 flight cage for $130 on regular amazon but the doors may not be secure enough for escape artists. I believe that cage uses spring loaded doors.

The flight cage should be okay for small birds like GCC. I think it would work fine.

I read your post wrong at first, and thought you were talking about the flight cage for the Amazon pair ! I figured you knew better than that lol.

I also like this cage because they will play with foot toys on the bottom.

Hah! I'd love to get them a flight cage if I had the space! Maybe when my downstairs neighbor moves out. Though they're like my Sydney, just sit in one spot all day!

These two GCC are very active and fully flighted, semi hand tame, moreso the male. Would love to see them in a bigger cage.
