which brand of flightsuit(diaper)do u recommend?

I have a green cheek conure.
I'd like advise from someone who has bought a bird diaper.

which brand of flightsuit(diaper)do u recommend? there is Avain fashions and there is Jungle wear at Jungle Wear Bird Diaper Parrot Suit

i ask because i have to buy another one and they are not cheap.

i have a Junior small from Avian fashions and the tail hole is too small and the neck area chokes him, i guess my Green Cheek is bigger than most or something. plus mine has all of his tail feathers now and the make a wide area on his backside.

if you have experience in this area, thanks for your input on the one that you have

Hi Sand,

Are you using the flight suit as a diaper or for outdoor flying? If it is for a diaper, I would not advice you to use it. It is unsanitary for the bird to be wearing this and having the stool against his backside. It might also cause other potential health or behavioral problems.

If it is for flight, the best out there is the aviator harness. I own one but my bird despises it. The design is not perfect because it is challenging to put on and the head loop can cause some birds to feel constricted and thus panic. However, its the brand most people have success with.

I second the aviator. I actually find it quite easy to put on, but I guess that depends on you.

The aviator is also a simple design that does not pull on any feathers, and allows the bird to fully extend it's wing without putting pressure on the membrane between the shoulder and wrist, which I have seen other designs do.
