When do Greencheeks have their first molt

I have an almost five month old yellow sided greencheek that looks like he is starting his first molt.He has some pin feathers on his head and is molting maybe a dozen feathers a day.He is also bathing much more often. Is this young for a first molt?

Mine was born beginning of January and he's been covered in pin feathers for two months. And he has an absurd amount still! Including two tail feathers

My gcc time line is right next to my name up ^^^there^^^. He was born late October and started his first molt in late march. So about 5 months. It may depend on the seasons though...

Edit: don't be shocked if your little guy is molting for a while. Pumpkins first molt started in march and he's still covered in pin feathers right now.

Same here. Kyo was hatched the beginning of January, and started jolting ages ago. Her wings, tail, and back are still her old feathers, with a few new ones growing in slowly.
