What your pet reveals about you.

Lol! I strongly disagree with the list too, but then again I recently took Jeff Foxworthy's, "Are You A Texan" test and failed miserably. :)

Pretentious? REALLY... ?! Talk about perpetuating a stereotype!

I hope no one takes this stuff seriously...

Well, I live in Texas now. I flunk the "Are you a Texan" quiz everyday...

I'm a displaced Californian...

Well, since I've had at least one of each of these...I'm apparently very, very confused. :)

I once had a monkey as well...I can imagine what it would have said about that:(

I would say this is more accurate:
Cat- Careful, quiet
Dog- Energetic, athletic, loud
Parrots- Silly, loud, obsessed (haha)
Fish- Quiet, cold
Reptile- Odd, geeky
Rodent- Careful, shy
Exotic Pet (monkey, tiger, etc.)- Crazy.

That's funny :) Thanks Delfin. Well, going by this, I don't seem like too nice of a person! LOL :52:

I like this one better, though I'm still confused I guess lol.

Before I was loyal, sensitive, pretentious, dark and disturbing, and run.

Now I'm careful, energetic, silly, odd, and shy.

Slightly better since I would like to think I'm not pretentious or dark and I definitely don't run lol.

I'm loyal, sensitive, cold, weird, run run run, and pretentious with everything I've owned...

... I'm pretty sure even Cosmo magazines have more accurate personality types, and we all know how "accurate" those are!

Guess I'm pretentious, weird and you better run run run! Lololol what a funny (and wholly inaccurate) assessment of pet owners. And my grandma (who was the sweetest, most kind woman you could ever meet) had a pet rat for many years. She loved it, and it was a wonderful little pet for her. Nothing "dark" OR disturbing about my grandma or her rat. Mr. Newt is a fascinating little creature to watch, poor old Leo (the gecko) is nothing to fear nor was Tiffany (my beardie) and while Kiwi may be quite smug (due to be so very spoiled), I would not consider myself 'pretentious'. If anything, I'm quite shy in person!

Anyone else notice how the only POSITIVE traits are exclusive to dog and cat owners?

Happy cat - while I agree with your assessment, there's no plain 'birds'!! O_O or farm animals....

I wonder what they'd say about by soon-to-be 12 pigeons, 5 chickens, 10 ducks, goose, and turkey!! Oh lord - what about the RABBIT ?!?! Rabbits aren't rodents! And I thought they were the 3rd most popular pet! Lol!

Yesh, judgmental site much? Oh yeah, I own a costly bird that demands attention and great care... I must be pretentious. How does having a pet make you pretentious anyways?
