I would love to start making bird toys seen many good ideas on here, but what type of rope would be suitable? And some idea on where to find it thanks in advanced ;)

Most home improvement stores also have sisel rope, but make sure it hasn't been treated in any way. Cotton rope is good too, but I've had a hard time finding it.

Thats awesome thank you! im looking forward to starting toys

I would not buy sisel rope from a hardware store. i did and started to make a net with it. Then after I had made the net I looked at the wrapper it was in. It was all discolored from were it had touched the rope.

I bought a bunch of rope from here - Knot And Rope Supply Ltd. It is perfect. It had nothing on it and works great. Plus it is really cheap. I bought 200 ft of rope for $25 shipped.

I couldn't find Sisal rope in the craft stores in my area, one store I called said thay have seagrass cord which is supposed to be great for birds. I'm heading out there later does anyone have any thoughts on this one?
