My knowledge isn't great on jardines parrots but I thought adults have a blackish mottling on there backs and I thought there eyes go a orangy colour??? Unless there is a sexual difference in the species??!!
Yes, a Jardines. The eyes still look quite dark and the feathers are still a bit rough in their colouring, suggesting that it's a youngster.
Jardines are Poicephalus parrots, like the senegal and uncapped parrot and are found in Africa rather than in South America like the amazons. They tend to be smaller and are less vocal than amazons as well. They're great clowns though, and are personally on my top ten list.
