Hi
I will soon be a new mom to a year old Quaker Parrot. Not sure the gender.I have been reading and trying to learn as much as I can before getting a bird. After much reading and going back and forth I finally decided on a Quaker. In the past I had 2 Ring-neck doves, and a Cockatiel. I thought this looked like a nice forum to get more info and meet other bird parents. I should be getting my Quaker this Wed or Thur. He is a little cage protective but once out of cage seems to be friendly and likes to hang out. I am excited to get him home.
I also have 4 Horses, 3 are Tennessee Walkers, 1 is a Kentucky Mtn. 4 dogs, 2 Boxers, 1 Mini Schnauzer. 1 Mini Schnoxie (mini schnauzer crossed with mini doxie), 1 Spider Ball Python, 3 chickens, 4 ducks, 4 barn cats. Along with 1 sweet hubby that puts up with my critter collection and 2 human kids.
