What other forums do you belong to?

I belong to about 4 different Jeep/off-road forums as well as reef central (saltwater reef keeping forum) and two Woodturning forums.

Tons. Not overly active on most of them, but truck forums, car forums, tractor forums, chicken forum, snow mobile forums, bike forums, chainsaw forums, gun forums. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

I follow a facegroup page called Feathered Friends and this one. I browsed around some African grey sites but nothing holds a candle to this place. Everyone bears with my over the top, conceited, sweet and picky Nigel.

I belong to AA, Love My Macaw FB forum, a gift basket FB forum and grey forum.net

I run a Facebook support group for women with postpartum depression and other material mood disorder.

I used to moderate a teacher forum.

I'm kinda sorta active on a customer service forum

I haven't been active on an etiquette forum I used to be super active on in a little over a year.

I comment regularly on the blog of a particular doctor who's areas of interest are nearly identical to mine.

I'm in a couple parrot related fb groups, but mostly just look at the cool pictures and ignore the drama.

As I'm still fairly new to the world of forums, so I'm only on a couple of others..

I'm on pigeon talk

And on petsnails proboards

Parrots... pigeons... and snails... oh my!

When I first started with online groups around 2005, it was Yahoo Groups. Anyone remember that lol. I think they're probably pretty much obsolete or really slow now since Facebook took over the world. It was about 2006 when I discovered what a forum was. It was Fluffies.org for parrots. When I tried to go back there in January 2014 (before I registered here) I discovered they were information only and no longer a forum.

Besides here, I'm a mod on a species specific bird forum which is more of an educational website geared towards responsible practices. Though it has a 'forum', it's not a 'social chat' style of forum. I'm also on a Pionus forum that I haven't visited in a really long time.

One day when we're ready for a dog again, I'll join a dog forum.

I'm on one, maybe two programming forums, maybe one gaming forum that I never use. I have an account with BudgieTalk I think. I have an account with BackyardChickens since we have about 15 chickens, I don't go there often. Only when I have a problem with our birds.

I recently found this forum and although I don't have a parrot (likely to change, I love birds) the community here is unlike most forums I've been on. :)

I've been more active on the dog forum lately but it can get frustrating since there isn't nearly the community like we have here, and honestly most of the advice isn't very helpful. A lot of people just seem super arrogant about having a rare breed or adhering to only certain training philosophies, even if their dog is a disaster because clearly they aren't succeeding in their training.

I was sort of liking the cat Forum but 1) none of my actual questions got any answers and 2) a creepy member started messaging me and asking all sort of personal questions. Like not bad questions, but why would you ask me if I ever go to the football games of a specific school, or if I like certain foods, or if I've learned to speak certain dialects? He kept messaging me repeatedly until I threatened to report him, but it's hard to feel comfortable there.
