Can anyone tell me what kind of rope this is? Rosey loves chewing on it. I wanted to get more and make a toy out of it.

How thick is your Sisal? I've got some that is 3/4" thick, and when my guys take the strands apart, it looks identical to the photo you posted.

It's probably natural sisal twine. (basically unbraided rope) I use it a lot here for tying bird toys together or to the cages.

The color of the sisal is not the same, I got it from home spot but it says 100% natural sisal. I had a post about it a couple of days ago. I'm a little worried now.

I remember you asking about Sisal. Does yours have an odor? Natural sisal smells, too, but it's kind of a dried grass smell, or similar to that, LOL. Treated sisal smells truly like some sort of oil. Also, depending on how it was stored (how much sun exposure), it may bleach a bit. TREATED sisal is visually darker.

If natural it does have different colors through it, it's not uniform colored. As Wendy said though-it should smell like grass, if it does't I'd worry about it being treated.

It does smell natural, like dried grass.
