What kind of Breed is this????

Beautiful I would love to have him/her, but I'm still very inexperienced so....

The breeder said its a Derbyan Swagger. I've never heard of this breed.

Derbyans and moustache look an awful lot alike, but derbyan are much bigger. If it's an adult it's a female since the beak is black.

From the eyes and shape of the head, it looks a lot more like a Moustache than a Derbyan. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, don't Derbyan Parakeets have a similar build/facial look-structure to an Indian Ringneck? Moustache Parakeets seem to have a some typical parrot-face structure. (Large Conure for example)

The one in the picture I'd say is a moustache. Moustache tend to have... Thicker? Faces, whereas derbyans have a 'lighter' face - like an IRN.

One thing IS certain. The bird in question is a FEMALE.

The breeder says it's a Derbyan. I think they are in the best position to know.
