Blue Front with excessive blue coloring. Rare?

Hello. Can anyone tell me if it is rare to have a BF with this amount of Blue? Also, do you like it, or is it an negative aberration from the norm?
Thanks,
Mark

There is an excessive amount of blue on the bird, though.... down the stomach and into the feathers around the legs. That alone is unusual coloring.

Blue Fronts are not one of the zons i know much about. To the best of my knowledge there are about 5 different sub=species of Blue Fronts, The more "colored" birds are known as Chaco (sp?) and come from more open, drier ranges,(open Savannah, west of the Andes) the less colored birds (like yours) come from areas with denser forest,(rain forest, north and east of the Andes)) The "Chacos are more prized as pets and fairly common, some of the less colorful sub=species are pretty rare here in the states. I have some articles and books at home , i'll send you some links when i get a chance.
