What is your favorite thing that your Parrot does?

BB has just started whispering. I would go to his cage in the morning and whisper good morning and talk with him while I changed water and fed him. He is now whispering back. Not just in the morning but when I am just standing near him he will whisper. I can't understand what he is saying yet but I do get a very big and loud HA HA HA . I started the whisper trying to keep him from waking up the whole house in the morning LOL

Thats my second favorite thing Willow does, also first thing in the morning, lol

And I get the "I love you" after I get home from work, lol

When doolie was alive he would say " dad what r u doing!" To me and " I love" when he wanted something and my favorite..he would sing with me, and mimic my laugh.
I love it when sissy presses her beak against my arm and makes kissing noises.

I love when Talli laughs hysterically after a bath...and when Phoe learns to say something new, he will run as fast as he can across the tops of the cages screaming whatever he learned, with his wings held wide open. He can run back and forth across the cage screaming "HELLO PHOE" all day long..lol.

OK, I've got a new one. Every day I take some time to touch Loki all over to make get him used to me handling him.

Lately, I've been touching under his wing and when I do, I say "tickle tickle"....

At first he was like, "what the heck"....then he started to raise his wing to make it easier for me to tickle him. Then I started to say "ha ha ha" after "tickle tickle"....

So now, anytime I give him under the wing tickle tickle, I get "ha ha ha ha" back...LOVE IT!

Haha! One of our cats is terrified of our little gcc. As soon as he sees her come downstairs he BOLTS and hides. The other wants to eat her, so I have to lock him in the basement if I take her into the living room.

You're lucky your cat tolerates your too like that most of us are not so fortunate.

I was pleasantly surprised....day 1 I was holding the bird.... cat jumped up.... briefly sniffed the bird....then laid down, literally leaning against the bird. Only reason it bothers Willow is the cat whips her tail around a bit...Willow is not a fan of that, lol

Ahww, that sounds like so much fun! ^-^ My lorikeet is still really young, but one of my favorite things that he does is when I put my hand in his cage and he runs to take my ring in his beak and put his tongue against it. He also gently nibbles my neck when he on my shoulder. Adorable...

I love when I open the front door returning home and I get my special welcome home greeting from Buddy every time! Husband walked in one day before me and Buddy started his special welcome and midway sounded like he lost power, slowing down and didn't finish it like he wasted a great surprise on the wrong person, LOL!!!!! I walked in behind Husband and he started his special welcome home all over again, that made it worse for Husband, made me laugh harder.

OMG Julie! I STILL get grief from Husband about that day. Husband was so insulted, and Buddy is such a one person bird that he doesn't help matters being himself at all, Buddy. He's so sweet and loving to me, and a terror to anyone not me. I am working on him but it is so, so, so slow, he's hard headed. He is definitely a one person bird. I got EXTREMELY lucky that he liked/loved me from the beginning.

Ohmygosh how can I pick a favorite thing??

Espresso will act like she is going to bite me then she gently grabs my finger and makes a kissing sound. She thinks it is hilarious!! Beak kisses, snuggles, playing catch, dancing, and her old man grumbles in the morning before I uncover her. Whoops that is like everything!!
