I have been slowing making myself at home here and I am very happy with the warm welcome I have received so I thought I would share my art with you. I work out of my home and paint in oils.
First one is of my father..

Oh, labell, your art is gorgeous. Your father was such a handsome man.
That last one just took my breath away with it's power. You are so very talented and I thank you so much for sharing your passion with us.

I have chills going up and down my spine! Those painting are more than just paintings. They speak volumes! They are alive! :)

Thank you, the one of Buddha was done after my sister passed away and is called "Even Buddha Weeps" the gold is actually done in 24ct gold, really difficult to work with if you breath too hard on it while you are working it and before it is sealed, it will melt away!

When I was a little girl I LONGED to be a mermaid!

The lone crow has very loving personal importance to me.

The tree painting was done for one of my son's last year before his birthday I asked him what he would like and he said a painting of your representation of our (mother and son) relationship. I am the old tree, he the sapling, but the roots bind us together forever...he loved it.:D

Wow, I have no words for the beauty and the feeling I get from seeing your art. Your son must have been thrilled with his present:) And the buddha...again, no words.

A few more and I'll stop photo bombing for today...
Another one of my beautiful grand daughter, the idea is to paint her every few years and then someday when she is older give them all to her.

No...no....please don't stop now. :)

I can't get over the liveliness of your granddaughter's eyes. Simply amazing! And the turtle hatchling is astonishing. :11: SO life like!!!

YAYYYY!!! You posted a picture of yourself. You're a beautiful woman! Thank you!! :D

:24_shocke:24_shocke Holy Moly!!! Your work is breathtaking! And so emotive! It just touches the viewer. I am not an art connoiseur by any standards but I know what talks to my soul and your work does!

I am truly in awe of your talent. I can literally not even draw a straight line

My son is also interested in painting and has just started a new work in acryllic paint that I'm not allowed to see.

I wish you lived closer - I would love to buy one of your pieces.

That one of the little girl in the surf...wow!! Wow!!

Oh, and one more thing - you look far to young and gorgeous to have a grandchild ;)

breathtaking paintings....

the girl on the beach...it brought back the memories of my father passing and the desolation and "wave" surrounding the realization...

you have an amazing talent...thank you so much for sharing!

Oh, the little girl in the surf: POWERFUL. Your work is truly inspiring and beautiful!

Labell, your paintings are breathtaking! And not just for the amazing skill evident in every stroke of your brush, but also for your ability to touch something deep in the heart and soul of the viewer. THAT, my friend, is a rare talent. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us. (Feeling the urge to pick up my pencils, again.)

Oh! And it is so good to put a face to your name. Thank you for that, as well.
