And when you see folks write "paront" that short for parrot parent ;)

I didn't know that "fid" meant either when I first started "foruming", lol.

I still get confused why some folks say "scritches"...while I always say "scratches".

Besides feathered kid, it can also be furry kid:)

Could it be also "fluffy kid"?:) some time the "furious kid" could also fit my CAG :)

I think 'scritches' sounds cuter than 'scratches'! ;) Scritch sounds smaller than a scratch, to me, in some odd way...

I use it as furred/feathered/finned kids :)

Basically "pet children" :) (The noun, not an adjective! haha!)

Not sure where 'scaled' kid falls into it, but I'm just going to play ignorant and pretend snakes and lizards have fins :p

Monica, lmao, I am not sure why that is true, that a scritch sounds smaller...but is does! :D

Mayden, love it, I have never heard it anywhere but bird forums! Awesome!

Last thanksgiving day, I be the cook, we all pigged out, I say my JoJo doesn't like scritches. Motherinlaw says I be drunk and that is a stupid word! Well, Google search, on speaker, me doing,'kiss my butt' dance, I edumencated everyone!
