What do you like to get for your bird?

This is a lot of great feedback. I appreciate it! Looks like Ill have to create a toy section soon on the site. Maybe even a DIY toy section.

LOVE the DIY section idea. Like a birdy craft store:D After all, no one can really design a better toy for a bird than it's owner and being able to find most, if not all the parts they need in one spot would be great!

What can you do on hulk bags of parrot food? I use 20/25 lb bags of Kaytee Exact and Zupreem natural daily maintenance pellets,in Parrot/conure and cockatiel size. Could you beat Drs Foster/Smith prices? I am also looking for suppliers interested in carrying "dragonwood" perch supplies and/or dragonwood toy parts. I harvest Dragonwood and natural parrot foods such as Palm Nuts, safe seed pods, etc. i find natural foods to be great foraging "toys" that add to a companion parrots enrichment. PS lucky to be living in S. Florida with access to large tracts of private land.

I would definitely go for the monthly toy box program- maybe do a monthly "toy supply" program too? Or maybe just include random toy making parts with the other goodies??

I'm looking into what things could be included in each surprise box with my supplier at the moment. We are looking into a couple different package types to fit the majority of each bird species. Ex. XS, S, M, L, XL, but also ensure we know which species would go into each size range so I can mention that when someone is trying to figure out what the best package may be for their bird.

I think I'm going to have to start with premade toys, treats, and foods in the surprise boxes - only because my supplier doesnt have a great selection of DIY parts. I need to look into someone else to make that work well. For DIY, Ill likely start with a section on the site for it. I really want to continue to work with all of you through these forums and different threads to get the best feedback possible so I can make our business be the best fit for bird owners.

In the next day or so, I'm going to create an official thread for the Surprise Box program just to keep you all updated on the status of it. Currently, we are in Research phase!

I cant compete with Drs Foster/Smith prices on the food. Its hard because I dont get bulk discounts like they do because I don't store my inventory, therefore getting bigger discounts. The supplier stores my inventory and has to charge a lesser discount. I get the food for 46.99 so there is no room to provide a better offer.

As for dragonwood to provide to suppliers, A&E Cage Company supplies a lot of different smaller products other than cages, and so does All Pet Supply USA. Id recommend contacting both to see if they were interested.
