What do you feed, and how often?

Boo gets his parrot food (in the first post of this thread) and gets occasional raw nuts - never salted, birds don't handle salt well - and occasional cheese and meat. It's important that he gets green leafy vegetables, but I avoid spinach. It can prevent other nutrients from being absorbed. He loves cilantro. In the summer he gets fresh habanero peppers, and eats them like candy. We grow them in the garden for me, but he likes them, too. As far as "other" foods - people foods - he gets the kinds of snacks I eat, but I don't eat a lot of sugar, packaged foods or starches (grains, potatoes, etc.)

He loves macadamia nuts. As soon as he sees me get the container out, his eyes are pinning, his head is down, and his wings are fluttering.

I feed my birds Harrison's pellets, fruit, veggies (what ever they like) and as a treat they get some seeds and nuts.
