What can I Hand-Feed my Baby Cockatiels?

Hello guys, :rainbow1:
Please I need to know what can I Hand-Feed my Baby Cockatiels,
Can I prepare a formula at home (a natural one) using grains, beans ...etc instead of the hand-feeding Commercial Formulas like Nutribird A18-A19-A21, Exact, Kiki ...etc?
If I can, what grains can I use that can be easy to digest by the babies, and what else can I use to make a Formula at home?
thank you :yellow1: :grey:

I would strongly advise against it. Baby parrots have very specific digestive and nutrition needs. If you just mix a bunch of stuff together, your food will be lacking enzymes and proper, balanced nutrition, plus, certain things would likely be too hard to digest (too much fiber etc). You need to buy the commercial stuff....Certain beans also remain unsafe even when cooked due to lectins...

Do you already have these birds? Hand feeding is really dangerous and there is no real benefit to your relationship from doing it..so if you can wait to get them until they are fully weaned that would be the best.

Please read this for detail:http://www.parrotforums.com/breeding-raising-parrots/74363-so-you-bought-unweaned-baby.html

Also, this may help:

There is another section of the site that breaks down temperatures and it gets very specific.
