Weird cockatiel behavior

I have a 3 year old cockatiel sex undetermined. I have had him since he was weined and he is only friendly on his terms. He has pretty much the run of the house during the day. Lately he has been spending much of his time on a corner of the living room floor. The floor is tile. He sits there chirping constantly. If I chase him away he will return to the same spot and continue chirping. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a picture of the bird? They get compulsive obsessive with certain things and don't matter what you do, they'll go right back to the thing or place even if you remove them away from it.

My cockatiel Joey was like that too. They will fixate on one thing and become obsessed… Joey decided to fixate on me lol and when I would go to work he'd scream for me all day until I came home.

Nothing out of the ordinary, just part of the quirkiness of cockatiels, I believe.
