Weaning green cheek to pellets..

Hello, I have a 2.5 month old GCC. She is weaned but she seems to eat mostly seeds and fruits. She won't eat her pellets, I tried moistening them with a little water she still doesn't eat them. Any other ideas? I want her off seeds and on pellets and fruits and veggies. I am using the Zupreem pellets.

Try mixing them into the fruit bowl and slowly minimize the amount of seeds you give. She's likely to ignore the pellets for a while, but when mixed in, she'll be more prone to try them.

agree's with baby, my nut wont touch her pellets, so every now an again i reduce her treats an fresh stuff lol

i have a food bowl out side of her cage and the only thing i put in it are pellets, and funny thing is she seems to eat them from there but no inside her cage, where the good stuff is, i've mixed pellets into her mash potatoe, and she just separates them and leaves pellets in bowl lol or any pellets stuck to fruit, she picks off 1st

i think in nuts mind, pellets are the when there is nothing else to eat, rather pellets then starve lol
nuts on harrisons super fine, lafeber's, harrisons power treats etc so with all the other fortified foods, i'm not over bothered about her not eating pellets every day, i just don't like them goin to waste lol

Thank you. I made some birdie bread last night with pellets, she seems to be eating it so far.
