Thanks again Heather, I was surprised to see you guys already had the cage disassembled which it really saves me a lot of time since I had to run home to do some cleaning then reassemble the cage and all.

Keiko is doing quite well everyone!!! I had to bathe her in the shower cause she had poop on her from being inside the carrier. At first she freaked, but when she calmed down she was fine and excited being in the shower. I'm just surprised that Willie ignored her completely, not paying any attention to her what so ever. I had to take her pictures a bit away cause she tries to eat my phone when I was trying to take her picture on my arm. Unlike Willie who poses for pictures. Here's some pictures I took of her before bath.

She's magnificent! Her feathers look absolutely iridescent, especially her green forehead, it reminds me of hummingbird feathers.

She's chosen me over my partner so far....but we'll see....When I walk by her cage she would lay her head against the side of the cage for me to rub her head. :)

What a beautiful looking bird, such awesome coloring
Keiko looks healthy and has definitely settled in

Good luck with your "new partner" LoL

He is awesome! So beautiful!

I am SO so happy you have Keiko, Mikey! She could not be in better hands! And my gosh is she GORGEOUS!!! I'm sure Willie will take notice rather sooner than later, realizing there's a hot chick in the house now. :D

Let the adventures begin. :D

congrats Mikey!!, gorgeous gorgeous!!!!, Keiko has stunning colours, I've always loved the B & G's

I'm sure you two will be very happy together.

He's not paying any attention to her at all....he jumps when she screams though....lol. The one that gets upset when she screams is Dixie as she will not stop screaming last night because of Keiko.

Her cage looks awesome in the photos! Nice that Willie pretty much ignores her. Kenji and Rosie don't really aknowlege one another but they seem to enjoy being in the same room.

What does Keiko think of you now that she's been there a few days?

She's trying to regurgitate on me since last night and did it again tonight. She's nipped me a few times but that's expected. I'm able to pet her and rub her head but not too much cause she's molting and I can feel the pin feathers so I don't think she wants to be rubbed on too much. So nipping is expected cause she might be a bit agitated from the move and someone new touching her. But she's not scared or anything, it just seems like she moved right in and she's already established. I can get her to step up and she likes to lick me....lol.....

I'm so glad you were able to take her...it makes it so much less stressful to know that they are going to a good and well established bird home rather than someone you know nothing about and then just have to wonder...thanks Mikey

HUGS to you Heather!!! I know this wasn't an easy decision for you, and I also know you must be missing her! We are all here for you, through thick and thin. :) And I agree, Keiko couldn't have found a better, more loving home.

I'm so happy for Keiko to have found such a wonderful caretaker as Mikey. That's one lucky bird. I wish you guys & gal's all the best.

Thanks guys!!! She's just doing a lot better then I expected. I just have to move her sleeping perch a bit forward as she's pooping on the bottom perch while she sleeps....lol

I know this is a stupid question but i'm new, so how do you get the pictures to load up like that instead of attaching them, any response would be appreciated guys, thanks :)
