If you are interested in where Fargo and I have been the past week and a half, please enjoy this story hehe !
Day one: The lights went out.... Darkness. There was a frantic search for a torch to light up the emptiness which had surrounded her.. The rain was amplified by the silence as the power was cut.. No communication to the outside, she was alone.. She decided to call it a night by only 7pm, but that choice didnt last long as she heard the banging on her roof. Windm she thought, just the wind, but instead of believing her own lies, she went to investigate the eery sound which would not stop... She climbed outside wondering what was on her roof, maybe it was a human in need of help, but it wasnt a human... she was wrong, oh.. so wrong.....

It would of been interesting if thats how the story went hey?? LOL
Well, it was a long 10 days... but we made it...
It all started Sunday the 27th, we lost power at about lunchtime, we thought, oh the rain must of just lost the power for a little bit because of the storm.... but that was not the case... We had been flooded in 2011, but this was MUCH worse in OUR area, but because the towns wernt flooded as bad, they say its not worse, but it was terrible this time, and we didnt lose power last time!!!
We are on a VERY high mountain, if our house went under, i think eveywhere in Australia would of been flooded LOL so we were VERYYYYY safe !
On Tuesday i lost it completely, 3 days without power, when i live at my computer ? OMG.. i broke down, my friend called me on my mobile and i was in tears he was like 'umm, i dont know what to do :/ '
We were told the power would be gone for a whole month, and then maybe even a few MONTHS!?!?!?!?
But the power people came and started putting up poles ANYWHERE trying to get power to us all!!!!
Mum and dad say i went through stages like an addict: First i was sad, then i got reallyyyy angry, and then on friday i went into this happy, mellow person, i was calm, relaxed, i didnt even need the power anymore!!!
We went through a few adventures, me and Fargo having a bath together, him deciding not to eat, Fargo getting a sore pad on his foot, and the funniest- weirdest moment was today, when he was sitting on his rope hoop, and he got the clamp off, and he just fell.... didnt scream, didnt flap, just fell with the hoop and landed next to me.. i laughed so much, and picked him up and cuddled him.. hahaha
He HATES helicopters, any time one flew past he ran to his cage and hid! nawwww!
Cleaning my room by hand because i had no vacuum? THAT was fun
Overall Fargo loved it, i sat on the floor every day just playing guitar- i have blisters on my fingers now! haha
I also became quite the card player... every night the family played cards by candlelight..
Today, at 2pm.. the power came on... I heard a beep.. mum screamed POWER... i RAN out, screaming, hugged mum, tears of joy.. OMG THE POWER!!! Fargo is looking at me like whats so exciting?
Man i have missed you guys <3
So.. without further ado... the photos!
The "ROAD" as you can see.. there was NO road... thats the neighbours house across the road, the water has cut so much of their paddock, their house is now next to a cliff :S
Fargo doing his roll over trick- We practiced this one so much, hes NAILED it.. doesnt need my help at all
I got bored and made a card house.. Brilliant? I think yes! hehe
THERE IS NO REST FOR US ! hahahaha No matter what the weather.. we will do our training hehe <3
