What are you hoping for? Boys or girls?
Okay - I've decided I would like at least one girl.

I have:
3 male cats
1 female dog
3 male granddogs (dogs my daughters have)
1 female granddog (my son's)
5 grandsons
1 male grandfid

12 males to 2 females -

it is time for some more females.

No answer yet - just checked. ;)

It is. I guess I will have to give them extra treats tonight. I gave them treats this morning but something special tonight. Jingle likes cheerios (only thing I've found he won't throw at me). Yeti likes the Yogurt covered mangos. Both of these gals are chewing on their toys and I really do like to see that.

I just researched avian biotech and they are located in my little old town Tallahassee. Who would have ever thought that an important company would have headquaters in town. Hmm maybe they would let me go thereto check out how they do it.
I think you should suggest that they give tours...or do a video.

One thing I can think of why they'd say no (at least to certain areas like the lab) is that there would have to be strict biosecurity, as they also do viral disease testing there. Not only people possibly bringing in pathogens but probably have strict procedural protocol as well, and can't have tours going through there for more reasons than I can think of...

YAY!!!! You must be so excited! It's always so much fun to know genders of our birds!

Yay!!! Congrats!

It does make a difference.

I walked into the house last night and said "hi, how are all my beautiful boys tonight?" And then I remembered that there are now 2 girls. I'm in the habit of saying "good boy" when the birdies do something good and now I have to change that and say "good girl" where appropriate.
No wonder my girls were looking at me funny when I kept saying "good boy." :D

Just a lot of adjusting to do.

Jingle was especially cuddly last night. It takes Yeti a while to warm up and then she walks across the dog's cage and onto the floor climbs up and into Whisper's cage and helps herself to his treats, food, and water. Then climbs onto the top of the cage and plays with his toys on top of the cage. Jingle also goes into Whisper's cage and plays with his toys and tears up the newspaper on the tray (I don't know how he got to it). They enjoyed themselves.

After they played for a while Jingle climbed up on my shoulder and then I noticed that all three of them were resting and ready to go to sleep.

Congratulations! It may be confusing for a while, but it's good to be certain.

I finally got my kit in the mail. I've never done this before... the submission form wants an account number... where do I find this information?
