Waiting for my new Hahns!

Hi all, we are getting a baby hand reared Hahns at the end of July. Literally can't wait!

Has anyone got any early day advice? My plan at present is to let him settle in for a few weeks giving as much attention as possible then I'm keen to introduce a harness and start potty training, both useful and hopefully helpful in building a bond.

Any stories or experience with little guys would be interesting to read

I just saw a Hahns Macaw today, and fell in love, but I've got enough right now so I had to walk away

Congradulations! I am going to be getting a hahns macaw this summer too (from a breeder in Missouri). Are you getting your bird from a breeder? It sounds like you have a good plan set up.

Yeah he is coming from a breeder (I'm in the UK)
