Waiting for my baby Crimson Bellied

I’ve been lucky enough to adopt a Crimson Bellied conure I’m naming Fiona. She’s about 7 weeks and not weaned yet so I haven’t brought her home. Her cage is here and all set up, just waiting on her. We met her last weekend and we’re heading back Sunday to visit again. I can’t wait to bring my baby home!!!

Anyone have any advice or stories to share to help pass the time?

Congratulations! I myself am a fairly new Conure owner, so I can definitely understand your excitement.
Your Avatar shows a Conure so not sure if you already have one or if this will be your first; but my advice is too research as much as possible. Read as much as possible on safe & dangerous toys, foods, cage setups, etc. Lots of great YouTube videos which visually can show you the do's/don'ts.
Just use common sense since not all advice is creditable.

Armed with knowledge, you will then feel more comfortable when she comes home. Best of luck.
