Waiting for midnight

Well i rang the breeder today. Still two weeks, sigh i miss midnight so much, its been 5 weeks since we last saw her. She is in good health and mischievious,. But we do miss her so.

Anyway ill behave i know weaning cant be rushed.

2 weeks will fly by, and she'll be in your home and arms before you know it.

Most of us have been through the waiting period - and it's not easy. I remember marking down my calendar for when I was expecting to bring Niko home. It was supposed to happen on a Sunday. But the Friday before I drove down to visit him, and already had the carrier in my car. The breeder decided he was ready, and I brought him home that day. That was truly unforgettable.

MAC was in a spot where we did not care for the surroundings or the "customers" that were allowed to come in and handle the birds unsupervised.

We took some training and finished the weaning process ourselves.

Knowing now what we did not know then, I realize how foolish we were to take the chance with Mac's health. There were so many things that could have gone wrong. We are extremely thankful that nothing terrible happened.

The time will pass quickly and your FID will come home and fill your life with a ton of joy (and work:54.
