Visiting Quakers

In my neighborhood of Carteret NJ we have four or five colonies of Quakers about one half mile from my house.

Here they are at their nest on a transformer on a telephone pole.


a few weeks ago they visited our bird feeder in the back yard but have not been back since...

Ahhhh, Look at that! Thank you sooo much for posting the photos. We have several wild quaker colonies in Texas, but not so close that I've seen them in person yet.

It would be fun having QPs visit an outdoor birdfeeder. Not sure that Ralph would approve if any showed up here (which isn't likely).
