Well we have a victory. Peep our gcc has been a junk food junkie since he came home and I've been working to get him to eat fresh food and pellets, no small task I can assure you!

He rejected many kinds but finally settled on Harrison's mini pellets! He looks at me with the stink eye but is eating them. He has also begun to enjoy nutriberries and other fruits and veggies.

But don't even try to give him any kind of bean!;)

Congratulations, Peep! You must be beyond happy!

And maybe he just doesn't want to fart eating beans? Don't judge, LOL

Wow, that's great to hear! I just accomplished the same task, and wrote about that too! It was like a miracle - my gcc (and all other birds) rejected all the pellets, and suddenly one day he started eating them! He was VERY mad at me, but he ate them. Now I only give seeds as a treat and mixed with veggie mash, so they would eat the veggies. I mix harrison and colorful kaytee since he wouldn't eat harrison alone. :)
I'm very happy for you - I know how difficult can it be!

It took me years to get Tootsie off her of seed habit. I would probably still be failing to change her diet were it not for Rosco, who will eat pellets. He fed her a few times and not long after that she started trying them. Only Kaytee Rainbow, though.

Congratulations on a win for both you and Peep!
