So I just had him out moments ago and he has erm... Really settled in nicely. He is causing trouble now lol. I had him out and I was on the IPad and he was sitting on the tale whistling and then he ran over started drinking my brothers milk and then when I went to get him he ran off and climbed up the curtains and was screaming at me for getting him off the milk lol... He is just a bundle of joy to have around. Although he does get into everything and anything he is quite fun and lets me do anything to him. I have allowed him on my shoulder as he is very well behaved and listens to me when I tell him, so as I am not advising to shoulder any bird he does enjoy it and whistles and talks to me:).

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on the butterball, he is doing more then great and very quickly too!

He came apparently aggresive and horrible, well unless he is playing huge games i see nothing aggresive or horrible about this little guy.

Give him a pencil than try to take it away [and see what happens] :) Glad to here hes doing so well ,are you keeping him?

I know all about the pencils with a previous caique my friend had:p. we are planning to keep him as he just loves the whole family so much, plus he really likes going out to outreachs with us so it is fitting toghether like we may be! He is a little unpredictable if you acute ally let him warm up to you. I see we're the issues could have been from, but you just need to know how to stop them before they proceed that's all.

As well baby girl has about 30 feathers coming in on her chest! I am so happy and she is letting them go so far so good:)

I think with caiques your not going to train anything out of them ( Their to head strong ) I just respect their moods and keep up everthing their going to get in trouble with.Which is EVERYTHING LOL.You described them just as I do.When my kids have a friend over . I can let the caiques see them [they just have to warm up] Then they shyly saunter over to see them and check them out. :)
