I wanted to give everyone an update on our progress since getting Echo around Thanksgiving!
SO far:
Echo loves target training! I hope to teach her a few tricks!
She knows how to step up!
She loves hubby and prefers to hang out with him, but she doesn't mind me too much!
She loves riding around on our shoulder or hanging out on her perch in our room!
She isn't a snuggle bug but has allowed some scratches here and there!
She has let others pick her up for a bribe/treat!
Her vocabulary is expanding!
She seems much happier now that she can come out of her cage every day! (Rather then once every few months from her previous home!)
She STILL won't switch to pellets fully but we are working on it still!
She also got a clean bill of health from the vet and easily went into her carrier (we have a top load carrier)
Overall she is a happier parrot and we love having her around!
