- None, at the moment, but in the past we had a peach faced lovebird called Baby, and we currently have 4 chickens
The most common cause of abnormal feather development in any bird is malnutrition or an unbalanced diet, but I would have thought that would be seen all over the bird rather than just in one spot. Abnormal feather growth can also be caused by chronic illness or parasites. I'd recommend bringing her to see a vet; they're more likely to have some idea of what's wrong. Please update us on how she's doing!
