Unable to use post tools/formatting

I thought at first I'd run out of media space and couldn't post photos, but then realized I can't use any of the post formatting options - they're greyed out. Any ideas where I screwed up?

Looks like you're in preview mode. Try clicking the icon at the top right that looks like a paper and magnifying glass.

Happened to me too!

As stated, turn off preview mode, it's the little magnifying glass.

Honestly, I thought that preview mode isn't available any longer after the last PF update

Nope, Preview is still available

Well shoot I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - on my end, clicking the magnifying glass looks like it put me INTO preview mode, which doesn't let me type, only view what I've already written.

I accidentally figured it out

This time there was a bracket [ ] that was blue which I hadn't noticed before, and clicking it made everything normal again
