I know the answer is vet visit ASAP.

But a couple of days ago I felt a lump under Primor's right wing.
I checked under the left and thought it's just slightly bigger than muscles on that side.

Last night I checked again and the lump under his right wing is NOTICABLY bigger.
It does not seem to be sensitive to the touch.

Primor is my baby.

I am very sorry to hear this news, @PrimorandMoxi, it's so worrying and frightening when this sort of thing happens. I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts and sending all my healing prayers to Primor and hoping he goes well at his vet visit 🙏 🙏 🙏

I hope your parrot feels better. Please keep us updated. I try to learn about parrot issues so I know what to look for when things come up.

Thank you.
I went to feel it this morning and thought it had magically dissapeared.

I said my bird is so amazing he heals himself.
Then I felt again.
and it was still there.

do you have a vet appointment planned? Hopefully it’s just a feather cyst.

I have appointment tomorrow but please check this out though:

I looked again this morning and it is absolutely not there, this lump??

Can something go away in the mornings and come back later in day.

last night it was so pronounced. it just feels very fatty, fluid filled, size of a grape maybe...
or half a grape surrounded by flesh and feathers?

Cysts are most of the time just fluid due to blockages of glands or ducts, so yeah they get bigger and smaller. I hod one once on my wrist and the Doc just smacked it with a big spoon to burst it open. Good luck at the Vet!

With a big spoon? Your doctor sure uses state of the art techniques with high tech instruments!

How do you manage to feel under his wing? He allows it without restraining or toweling him? I had a cockatoo that let me massage her wing bones but that's not unusual for very tame cockatoos. Most birds wouldn't allow it, much less enjoy it.
