Uh, oh! My GCC gave me the stink eye.

Sunny, my Sun Conure baby is about 13 weeks now. I usually have my son hold him so that I can spend time with Trixie (2 yr old GCC) because she is VERY jealous of the baby (and of any human that gets near me or my daughter).

Well, last night, my son spent the night at his grandmother's. Therefore, I snuck Sunny out of his cage for some cuddle time on my couch. I hid in a corner, without truly believing that my GCC would notice. Sunny is so soft and he still makes the little baby chirpy noises.
Well, Trixie saw me! Yikes. She didn't miss a beat, either. She gave me the stink eye and a nip for good measure before I left for work, lol.

I love my two babies! The house was always loud with my Trixie but now, little Sunny is getting brave and beginning to squawk along with her. It's so fun! Love my fids

LOL! That's so cute. It's funny how they get jealous. It's like dealing with humans and their jealousy. I would've loved to have had Carlisle or Kayak as a baby. They're cuddly now, but babies are just so adorable. I always play with the "baby Carlisles" at the huge bird store about an hour from my house. I love the baby Sun noises. So much nicer than adult Sun screaming.
