Hey y’all!
Just thought I would say hello and introduce my guys. I have a couple of GCC. Coco, who’s been with me for a bit now, and my newest two, Ripley and Zee (originally named Zekkie). These two were just adopted from a shelter in Montana this past weekend. They are actually very sweet birds. I found this fact out tonight. As I switched them from their previous owners cage, to one they can stretch their wings in. I think the cuddles I got tonight (along with the nips) established a small little step in trust. Ripley loves head scritches. He tried hard to roll up in my shirt too. Zee is a work in progress. She’s “ok” until you want to move her. The she like “heck no techno”! No blood drawn.
Coco, who was my very first GCC, is a sweetie. She’s one of the free flyers in my group. She’s friends to all. The cockatiels get along with her, so that’s always a plus in my book.
