English Budgie
Here is their finished set up. Double flight "estate" with divider , and Twigs and Mink getting acquainted...
Last night they had a little pecking match, which I'm expecting to be on and off for a while as they establish dominance. Today with the divider out, it looks like Twigs invited Mink over to his side lol.
It will be interesting to see their friendship develop... I have a very dominant mature male Twigs, then Mink, the much larger (baby) English budgie female. Female budgies are known to be dominant.
Even at Mink's tender age of 10 weeks, she has already shown dominance toward me. Being hand tame, looks like I'll have another parrot to train! Never mind her tiny size, she still needs to be well behaved .
They look the same size in the pic, but Mink being of English type, is quite a bit larger.
