wow! That is amazing! Can't wait to see it :)

Thanks Copperarabian

Unfortunately I am rushing this a bit, and trying following my normal procedure.
It's going to take a while, the reason being when Mishka is learning new words I always explain what they mean. I do not want to go off course and teach him words he does not understand the meaning of.

Mishka is so inquisitive when mentioning the forest, he asked me "where is the forest"

Have you thought of printing out big photos of the forest to show him?

We actually showed him pictures of a forest from a book.

I take time explaining things to him EG:

The birdies live in the forest
The birdies sing in the forest

THEN ask him questions EG:

Where do the birdies live?
Do the birdies sing in the forest?

We will get there I am sure of that but do not want to change the way I train him.

Oh dear

I have a problem

When teaching Mishka the script, he keeps asking me where is the forest?, what is the forest?.

I have explained the birdies live in the forest and shown him pictures

I have hit a BLANK !!!!!!!!

Any suggestion PLEASE

You could say 'far away, many trees, a place for birdies'? Or maybe 'the forest is where the birdies live'?

Antoinette, my family and I have watched all Mishka's videos (even my non-birdy husband) and all his sayings have become household comments. My daughter just left for a job interview and she called 'Bye Mummy. I want to kiss you!' in Mishka's voice. My husband keeps telling us 'you're an ***hole (also in Mishka's voice)' and we've all suddenly developed a South African accent. LOLOLOL! We are huge fans of Mishka's and wish him and you all the very best in this endeavour. :)

Thanks. Love the household comments that is awesome.
Only problem Mishka wants to know exactly what each word means and I agree.
BUT there is no time to explain to him.
Ps.- Hope your daughter got the job.

I can't wait to see it!!!! Excitement awaits.... :D

I have an idea...of course I have NO clue if it's going to work. Can you get a poster of a forest and temporarily hang it near where you train Mishka?

Each time he asks you about the forest you could show him, and tell him he's sitting next to the picture of the forest, where birdies live and birdies sing. :)

Please be sure to share the final video, and a "behind the scenes" video would be awesome too! This is so exciting to hear of a project like this!

what about showing him videos on You Tube, maybe you can punch it up on your t.v. and show him the amazon, birds, trees, etc...
National Geographic would be an excellent choice.
I hope this helps.

We have shown and hung a picture of the forest near Mishka, he is just not interested in looking at it, no matter how much we show him.

I showed him a picture and was explaining what is in the forest, the birdies, the lions........ he grabbed and torn it, shredding it to pieces

It is most exciting I must admit for me anyway, guess Mishka will just take it in his stride :grey:
I am going to try my best asking their permission to take loads of picture and to video them from begining to end, thus making an amateur video if how an advert is made.

Thanks for your advice crimson :)

Mishka often watches National Geographics and You Tube video's BUT his attention span is for approximately 5 minutes, then he turns his back to the TV and starts talking.

I reckon Mishka would rather talk and find out, rather than looking at video's and pictures.
