So I got in a little bit of trouble. With my first clutch of parrotlet babies, I may not have exactly sold all of the babies, I may have traded one of them for a green cheek. My wife said that's not what I told her I was going to do with the babies. Now, this wasn't really planned out to start with, because I never really saw myself as a green cheek kind of person. They just never really appealed to me, honestly. Except this little guy. He really isn't very sweet. He's nippy, although he doesn't bite extremely hard, he puts enough pressure that you feel it. He has no manners, although he seems to be potty trained. He is extremely bird aggressive, so he can't be out with any other birds. In essence, he's sort of my kind of bird. He is currently making typing rather difficult since he is in my sweatshirt sleeve. I've decided to name him Brad. Why? No clue. Usually when I name my birds, I just go with whatever seems to come to me, and Brad it was. I'll post pics in the comments, I've been having issues with photobucket, so I'll put them in the comments from tapatalk. He's adorable, and I do prefer the "origianl" green cheeks look over most mutations so even that worked out in my favor. I do love the little guy, even if he is a little brat.

The funny thing is, when the person I got him from originally got him, it was as a breeder. He was said to be vicious and unhandled. She couldn't pair him up with any females, though, because the only kind if aggressive he is is bird aggressive. Some breeder. The only issue he really had that made him "untame" was that he didn't know step up. That only took me about two hours of having him home, and he was fine. I think it's been a while since he's been handled regularly, but he definitely is not an aggressive, wild bird.
