TreeBee is a Professional Photographer. She does mostly wildlife and nature Photography.

Here are some of her bird shots. http://s942.photobucket.com/user/Trinatalmon/slideshow/Birds%20Birds%20Birds

If anyone can ID the "Fledgling"(Second pic) I would love to know what he is. I was thinking Red Tailed Hawk but he was far too large for that. He is Huge and allowed us to get within 10 feet of him and posed for a good half hour.

AMAZING!!!!! I LOVE her photos!! Her and I need to go hiking together ;)

#2 definitely looks like a juvenile red tailed hawk- the barring on the tail feathers and the splotchy chest feathers are indicators. The RT's we have are pretty hefty birds- their weight can range from 690-1600g with females being fairly larger than males.

Tha last pic is a super rare new mexico mega humminbird! She was lucky to catch that shot! Very wiley critter there!

The hawk, The only reason I was leaning away from a red tail is the size,He is HUGE!!!!

In this Pic, I was standing under him. You can see my lens hood in the bottom left corner.

The area that we took these is a Bald Eagle breeding area, as well as many other Raptors...

Wendy,

There was no fence. She was in their "PlayPen" there were 4 White Tigers in there with her.

She will do some things that will make a Macho Man cry for his mama!!!

Holy smokes!! She sure has appendages made of steel. :11:  :11:

Quick funny story (I TRY and make it brief :54:)
When we moved to Oklahoma and visited the Wildlife Refuge, there was a herd of wild Buffalo. I ordered Alex to stop the car, as I wanted to take pictures. I was "quite" pregnant at the time, too. I proceeded to walk closer into the field where they were "grazing". Alex yapping "That's close enough", I crept on closer and closer. As I was clicking away, Alex got on my nerves with his incessant yelling, so I turned around to see him out of the car, hollering, screaming, pointing "RUN." I turned around again, only to see this MASSIVE bull stomping his foot. I had NO idea a pregnant woman could run THAT fast. I made it back to the car just in the nick of time. :52:

Woooo HOOOHooo, I'm picturing that in cartoon form! Ha hahahah!!!!

Too funny!

awesome photos you have there captsteve!!!

you certainly have some spectacular wildlife where you live.

Tree sure does have nerves of steel, I'd be admiring those types of animals from afar!!

I envy her, when I was very young, around the age of 4 or 5 I wanted to become a professional photographer for National Geographic. I knew then there was something to be said for nature :)
