Sorry for the error in the title...using my phone to post this. It should read "Traveler"

Has anyone seen the Mango Pet Traveler Play Stand and can comment on it?

We are planning on taking Nike camping this season and I'm looking at what's available before I make one. I would also move it around in my house to give her a place no matter where we are in it.

Thanks

I am sure a Mod will come along and fix the title for you . I like that stand. Hope someone that know more about it will post soon.

Thanks,

I think I'd want the one with the toy hook.

He's more likely to stay put if there's a toy.

I took a peek at the website and there were a bunch of them. Which one were you thinking about?

Christinenc2000, no, not going to make this, just wondering if anyone already had it since I cant find it priced decently on Amazon (where I can send it back if it's junk) If I make one it will be from wood.

Anansi, I'm considering the Hilltop version. If I got the one with the Toy hanger my Nike would sit on top of that ;) So far she doesn't play much so a simple perch is actually fine. I'm just working too much and too lazy to make one right now...but I retire in 5 weeks.

We have three of their travel play stands. Two at home and one at the cottage.

Bought the first one for when we are traveling based on the lower stand and upper perch being two separate units. Can pack the lower in the trunk and keep the perch section in the back seat. Works really well at motels since the upper perch can sit on a table or night stand. In and out is really easy, which is what is needed when traveling. We found that the toy hook got in the way while traveling.

The other two had been added due to the easy of moving them around either with or without lower stand.

The folks at Mango are easy to work.

Well made product!

Hilltop seems good and versatile. The fact that the top can switch to a table top unit is a definite plus.

One thing, though. Don't let the fact that your bird isn't into toys now influence the stand you buy. She might learn to play with them one day.

Two years ago I went to france with my parrots and made my own play stand. I actually only took a few perches with me that I got with the new cages.. my parrots wanted to be outside so I made this stand in a few minutes.. it isn't the most complicated ever made but maybe you can make something yourself like that too if you go camping..
