Hello,
So I have had my lovebird for 9 months now and I have started her training to be a hand held pet. I have so far had three mini sessions with her. she was not hand reared and purchased from a pet store. I will put her on the couch or somewhere to sit and not smother her with attention too much. I want her to come to me when she is comfortable. I will sing to her and talk to her gently. She seems very comfortable to sit there and chirp away. She gets scared if I walk over to pick her up though. If i pick her up she snuggles in my neck really cute. She has not bitten me once! Is this a good sign of progress? I know "wild" birds can be difficult to tame... I am very amatuer this is my first bird!
